General Information

What is the game about?

Vector Strike is a 4v4 physics based first person shooter game where the objective is to score goals and use your skills strategically to win rounds. Each match has 3 rounds and you can earn points by scoring goals and gain advantage by keeping possession of the ball.

What is “Project Mercury”?

Project Mercury is the internal name for Vector Strike and the one we used for pre-production.

What are the system requirements?

Minimal System Requirements:

Gameplay

How do I start playing?

As soon as you launch the game for the first time, you will go straight to our tutorial. It should be easy and simple to learn the controls and strategies of Vector Strike.
If you would rather go straight to the action, click “Play.

Is there only a ranked mode? Will I lose my rank after the technical test?

-It is still early days for Vector Strike, we are still building our matchmaking and ranking systems. For now, only the tutorial, practice, custom parties, as well as the ranked mode are available. The data we are gaining from your play-sessions is super valuable for us to make our systems better!

You need to play 10 ranked games before accessing your MMR by hovering your mouse over your icon, bottom right of the screen.

What are the controls for the spectator mode during private matches?

Here are our default controls for the spectator mode on PC during private sessions.

Technical Support

How do I install the game?

For you to find our game on steam, you must follow these steps:

Go to the Store section in the top line menu
Search for “Vector Strike” and click on “Download”
Go to your Library and search for "Vector Strike". Click play and enjoy our game!

I'm having trouble installing the game. What should I do?

We recommend checking if you have enough disk space for the game.

The game won't launch. What can I do?

Make sure the prerequisites have finished installing as part of the first launch.
Upgrade your GPU drivers to the latest version and restart your computer.

The game is lagging. How can I improve performance?

Check the performance related settings of the game and lower them to see if it helps (lowering the graphic settings but also moving down the cursor on the Resolution Scale).
Close any applications you don’t need that might be running in the background
Check if you have a lot of browser tabs open. This can use a lot of system resources, and closing them could help.
